John Reese

John Reese is considered as one of the pioneers in the internet marketing world. He started with his solo workshops teaching people how top get (mostly free) traffic to the web sites. He recently his Traffic Secrets 2.0. You can check out his blog at John Reese’s Blog site.

He used those workshop proceedings as a stepping stone and came out with a home study course. John was the first to use a ‘product launch‘ approach, which is nothing but building expectations in the marketplace over a period of time, leveraging affiliates and JVs to the maximum extent and launching the product. This is very similar to what Apple does to launch Apple products such as Macs, iPods and iPhones.

I understand that Jeff Walker, who popularized the ‘Product Launch Formula‘ approach, was also involved in the back-end in launching John Reese’s Internet Traffic Secrets 1.0.

John made more than a million dollars on the day of the launch. It was a major milestone that opened the eyes of other Internet Marketers.
